Yes. Our GPs can create a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), which provides access to up to 10 Medicare-subsidised sessions with a psychologist per calendar year.

Can I get anxiety medication through this service?

Accepted Answer

Our GPs can assess and prescribe clinically appropriate anxiety medications including SSRIs and SNRIs where indicated. All prescribing follows RACGP clinical guidelines.
